Ingredients

- 1 cup fruit juice (your favorite flavor)
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons agar-agar powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- to taste zest of lemon, orange, or fresh herbs
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine your fruit juice, honey or maple syrup, and lemon juice. Stir to combine well.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat until it starts to warm, do not let it boil.
- Slowly sprinkle the agar-agar powder into the warm mixture while whisking constantly to eliminate clumps.
- Continue to simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the liquid thickens slightly.
- Pour the mixture into silicone molds or a small baking dish lined with parchment paper.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours or until completely set.
- Carefully remove the gummies from the molds and enjoy!
Notes
- Adjust sweetness to taste; can swap for agave syrup for a vegan option.
- Customize with your favorite flavors using different fruit juices or herbs.
