Description

A delicious and hearty casserole made with ground beef, sauerkraut, rice, and Swiss cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1 can (10 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat; drain any excess grease.
  3. Stir in the drained sauerkraut, cooked white rice, and condensed cream of mushroom soup until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture evenly to the greased baking dish.
  5. Top generously with shredded Swiss cheese.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, golden, and bubbly.
