- 3 cups frozen crinkle-cut French fries
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: 2 tablespoons chopped pickles or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
- Spread frozen fries in a single layer in the baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes until slightly golden.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion. Break the beef apart and stir occasionally until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir in ketchup and mustard. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Evenly layer the beef mixture over the baked fries. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously over the top.
- Return the dish to the oven. Bake an additional 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped pickles or parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
