Description

Delicious homemade peanut butter chocolate bars made with Medjool dates.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 Medjool dates (pitted (about 3/4 cup packed))
  • 1 tbsp hot water (optional)
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 oz unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
  • 2 cup chopped peanuts

Instructions

  1. Using an immersion blender, puree dates in a medium bowl until they form a paste. You may need to add up to 1 tbsp of hot water to achieve a smooth consistency.
  2. Add peanut butter, melted chocolate and sea salt and mix until fully combined. Then fold in the peanuts.
  3. Press the mixture into a 9×9 inch baking pan and slice into bars.
  4. Freeze for 30-60 minutes until bars are set.
  5. Enjoy!
