A hearty and flavorful dish featuring sweet potatoes and smoked sausage.

- 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Slice smoked sausage into thick rounds. Sear in a hot skillet over medium-high heat until both sides are golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil. Add sweet potatoes and cook until tender and lightly crisped, about 10–12 minutes. Stir occasionally for even browning.
- Lower heat. Add butter, honey, garlic, and soy sauce to the pan. Stir gently and let simmer for 2–3 minutes until glaze thickens.
- Return sausage to the skillet. Toss everything to coat evenly in the glaze. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- This dish is perfect for a quick weeknight meal.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey based on preference.
